Repository Creation Utility (RCU)

The repository creation utility (RCU) is provided to CREATE the SOA Schema which is consumed by the SOA Services. The SOA Composite details will be residing in this schema. Pre-requisites for the RCU

Navigate to the SOA Directory at the below given path and execute the Config batch in the command prompt as Administrator.

Installing Oracle Database 12c client on windows 10 64 bit machine

1. Download 12c client for windows 64 bit.

2. Unzip the download to the folder on desktop machine.

3. Select appropriate setup options

4. Select language

5. Select option “Use Windows Built-in Account”

6. Provide path to install Oracle client.

7. Click Next

8. Click Install

Once installation is complete, close the window.

Install Oracle 12c On Windows Server 2008 R2

9. Login to DB Server using putty, change user to Oracle and Check the Listener status using following command.

10. Exit from putty
11. Run command “netca” on windows command prompt.

12. Select Add

14. Select TCP protocol

15. Provide hostname and port number

16. Select yes perform Test.

17. Select Change Login and provide username and password for user System.
